Â
How to sum up the season??
Â
Well, success can be measured in many ways, obviously, wins, draws & losses, relegation & promotion, financially or club stability.
Â
To me, success was achieving my 2 aims. First, create the enjoyment of playing rugby for GRUFC & secondly for the club to fulfil it's potential. Both go hand in hand although there is still a long way to go yet, in my opinion, as far as fulfilling the clubs potential.
Â
The results have been great, for the 1st, 2nds & 3rds. The fact that we have put 3 teams out on a regular basis is also a massive achievement.
Â
There is now a great atmosphere at the club and there is no doubt the club is now set for a bright & successful future.Â
Â
It has been great fun being water boy for the club this year and am I proud to have been part of the clubs success.
Â
Due to work & family commitments I will be standing down as water boy but will be keeping an eye on the clubs success from a far over the next few seasons.
Â
Â
Yours,
Good luck & REMEMBER ~ stay hydrated!!!
