Hello one and all, Firstly a big welcome to Roly Dixon who has joined us as a Forwards coach. Roly has a outstanding Pedigree when it comes to Rugby. He has fitted in well with the lads. Roly joins our new coaching set up of Ben Bourne, team manager, Trevor Edwards Forwards Coach, Paul Coleman Backs coach. After 4 successful preseason friendly results the season starts in earnest this Saturday at home to Newton Aycliffe. There is a training session tonight then the selectors will meet to decide the team. Currently im just recovering from a knee operation but i hope to be fit for the next home game. The 2nd team look to continue where they left off against Chester-Le-Street 2nds last Saturday. In what will prove to be a tougher test this Saturday aginst Seaton Carew 2nds. With an unsteady start against Chester-le-Street, the 2nds are looking to hit the ground running from the off this saturday. We will not be leaving it till until 2nd half to really put the pressure on the opposition and put points on the board. Tries from Conway, Suthers, Grainger, Sonley, Clark, Pattinson. Once i have had couple of weeks practice at this it will be better |
