Whitby v Guisborough 05 - 16
Second half Guis looked the stronger and started playing some decent rugby and when James Clark broke the central defence, Joe Bossomworth was on hand, he was unable to take the ball cleanly so used his footballing skills to get Guis second try. Guis tried to push on and when Whitby's number 8 was sin bined for stamping, James Clark converted the penalty again. Guis pushed forward and when Whitby were caught offside James punished them with a further penalty to make it 16-5. No further points were managed by either team and Whitby seemed happy to keep this respectable score and played a spoiling game. This was Guisborough's toughest test todate and although not pretty, managed an away victory.
Man of the match Lee Richardson and well done to Ross Garbett who made his first team debut
