Position: Open Side Flanker

Stats: Recently taken over from Martin Tart. Paul has played for Guisborough since the early age of 17, He has represented Yorkshire at colt level and Middlesbrough at under 21 level.

Paul’s Guisborough career has seen some ups and down.  He played in the highly successful 90’s team under Captain B.Gash.  He took over the Captaincy in the late 90’s when it was not so good but under the guidance of Coach B.Gash they gained promotion to Durham and Northumberland Div II.  Paul has served 3 terms as Captain. Thoroughly enjoying the job.  He says a “At 33  and currently injured this is not retirement but he is grateful to Chairman and former 1st 15 coach M.Tart for this chance”

1st Team Captain : Mathew Flint

Age: 24

Position:No 8

Stats: Mat as he is affectionately known has come through the junior ranks and made his 1st team debut at the age of 17.  Capped by Yorkshire at school and Colt level.  Matt attended Newcastle University where he gain a degree in History.  All the while continuing his career at Guisborough.

2nd Team Captain: Mick Patterson

Position: Full Back, Fly half
